From even that fuzzy photo, I recognise all three vehicles and the 2 men! Knowing them as I do, this will be a FUN weekend. I would be there in a heartbeat only we fly out for the US early on Tuesday. Looking forward to 100 years!!
BTW, that truck isn't what it seems. Keith punts it along at the same speed others in their cars with overdrive. Good to see it going again after that moron in a modern truck rear ended him.

At least we don't have 50 or something states so you have to get out and change or remove or put back on the front plate six times on a Sunday drive.

By all reports, 200+ As were assembled at Gulgong on the weekend.
Orderly parking was NOT on the agenda!

I was there.

Hoogah's video was on the sunday morning at the showground oval.

Most of the cars were in Gulgong town still on a photo shoot.

There was about 200 cars, and 150 went on the convoy cruise down to Mudgee on the saturday.

The cops must have got a few cases of beer, as there were unregistered cars cruising around Gulgong.

Was a sight ( and sound ) to behold.

This is one site with some pics.

Am trying to find the main site of aussieamodels .

Purists do not look.

(Although there were about 15 or so original and restorations amongst us.)

ALL Model A/s were welcome and there were trophies for both original/restored and rods.

Good collection of photos, Pooch. I see they even let a T in! Did you take the camper?

Thanks for the photos, Pooch. The shots in Gulgong are great with no moderns spoiling the streetscape! What a great historic town as a backdrop!

I woke up sunday morning and 90% of the cars were gone.

I saw a few packing up and driving home on sat arvo.

I thought they were mostly gone home until I asked and was told they were all in town for a photo shoot.

There was a few moderns mixed in but as soon as they left, an A moved in.

I heard the local newsagent was really pissed off, as she had little local business.

I did see one old bitty driving a 4WD cursing and shaking her head as she drove thru town with no where to park.

Ha ha.

Yeah. Right. Business in Gulgong on a Sunday morning...

There's a reason why it still looks the same as the day it was built in the gold rush.

I doubt most of these blokes can fit in any food with the amount of grog they guzzle .
