Default bellhousing

I am making my on engine run-up stand and need bolt pattern dimensions for bell housing to engine bolt holes (59 AB). I don't have the engine yet but I won't to get a heads up on the stand so I can be ready.

I have a C59A in my workshop. Is that what you need? If so, I can check tomorrow, but bolt circle for mine is partly on engine casting, oil pan, and inside toon cover. You can see this with the hogs head adapter mocked up to the oil pan and inspection cover with T5 trans.

When I made my engine test stand, I used a part of a cheap Harbor Freight engine stand (the part with the length of 3" tube, with a plate welded on with the 4 mounting fingers) as the rear mount. It is adjustable (I have had a flathead, an Olds Rocket, and an early hemi on the stand so far) and has worked great for me. When I mounted the hemi, I had to move the mount back a bit, but I just drilled another set of mounting holes in the base.

Something to think about.

I looked but couldn't find the video. It was a guy starting a engine on the floor with a tire and a couple bricks, really kinda funny also. Guess we are just too sophisticated now and all the new videos have overdone it.

Put it in the car and go. You don't want to run the engine on the stand for long anyway without load.

Several sources for the bolt pattern, transmission, hogshead, 8ba half bell, etc. Access to any of these would give you the bolt pattern.
