Default Thanks Charlie NY....

Sorry about the first picture, the sun sets a little earlier this time of year. As if this guy needs an introduction, got this today for the 39. Hope to get some more miles on my Peeekup before the snow flies. Scott

Been probably 4 years since Charlie did my 39 coupe dual Edelbrocks. They were returned looking like jewelry and still perform great.

Another note worthy mention, his fuel pumps are bullet proof!

Great work and always a pleasure to talk and deal with!

Charlie did the carb for my 48. I bolted it on and it cranked and ran smooth as a baby's butt immediately. Can't be more pleased with his work.

My friend Richie built a flathead out of a 39 Ford he bought . (Hes a well known sprint car engine builder in Indy with a in house dyno room etc..)
After the build we put the engine on the dyno and i built him a helmet distributor etc for the engine. He brought the distributor to the shop and said you need to do something the engine only make 65-70 hp !!!
I looked it over very closely and it was a perfect helmet etc !! Nothing wrong what so ever !!!
Knowing Charlie from the Barn i sent him a message . His reply was put the carb in a box with some cash and he would fix it . Sent him the carb and when reinstalled the engine made 90HP !!! We were impressed !!

Charlie does carburetors; Bubba does distributors. You can contact either of them through the Private Message function.

About a year ago I sent a carb to Charlie for re-build. It promptly came back but the post office had abused the box and severely damaged the carb inside. I sent it back to Charlie so that he could collect the insurance from the post office but rather than put up with the hassle and wait for the claim to be processed, he repaired it as good as new and sent it back to me without charge.
Thanks Charlie.

Charlie NY did a 94 style, 1" bore carb for me. Good communication, prompt service, quality, and fair price. GR8 job, thanks Charlie!

I have dealt with both CharlieNY and Bubba (Jim) and both men are not only service providers but men of integrity that stand behind their work. I had occasion to call each of them with questions and they were both more than willing to take the time to walk me through the issue.
They are an example for all of us who love this "addiction". Thanks guys for your faithfulness and willingness to share your skills and wisdom.... Chap

Charlie also rebuilds distributors. He offers quick turnaround, extremely good workmanship and reasonable prices.
He gets my vote every time.

Another vote for Charlie here. I just installed one of his rebuilt 8BA fuel pumps and of course it works perfectly. I mailed him a check and had the pump within a week...even over the holiday!

Hi Everyone. Before my dad passed he and Charlie were pretty tight buds. So that's a good thing. Charlie has continued to be a rock for me.

Dad had Charlie do...
Super smooth '37 steering box
Transmission with tricky gears
Differential and new gearset
Dizzy
Carb
Fuel pump

...On my dad's baby, what is now my '36 Phaeton.

That car is a real kitten to take as far as you have gas money to continue. So, I've said it many times here previously. Buy with confidence!
