Does anyone know the difference between 36 front and rear pass car bumpers? Dimensions? I am looking for a pair of driver quality, found one--want to make sure i don't buy the same--haven't bought the one yet, thanks tom

Front and rear bumpers are the same for both 1935 in 1936. The difference is the end of the bumper on 1936 turns down.
This is from the early V-8 Ford club book.

When I was looking for replacements for mine other than new I found some other years that fit too and worked perfect, see example below, think this one was from 34?

My 35 coupe actually has a 41 rear bumper on it. Looks good, but needs restoration.

The front and rear bumpers on a '36 are the
same part front vs. rear, however I've notice the rear bumpers on my 35's have more of a bow to them when compared to the front. I believe this is caused by the bumpers conforming to the different shapes and dimensions of the front vs. rear brackets

Good catch John. Actually for both 35 and 36 the front(17757) and rear(17906-A) bumpers carry different part numbers.

Which, of course, means that they are not the same, the rear having more crown between the bumper guards.
