1930-31 Gas Tank Welt
Is the gas tank welt that Snyder's sells the best? If a better product is out there who has it? Do the fine point restorations have the tanks painted and installed.........or installed and have tank, welt and cowl painted as an assembled unit? Wet sanding & buffing must be harder.

Re: 1930-31 Gas Tank Welt
First, Bob how is that solid tudor doing in the shop? Paint the tank out of the cowl, then paint the cowl.Wait for it to dry.Put tank welting in [small bead size] not fender larger size sold by Roy N. you know the guy that GOT YOUR "NUTS". in [Hemming Motor News ad.].Don't know what Snyder's sells but they are Much better to deal with. But Roy has to close to correct stuff. And yes i painted the welting after[ That why i painted the whole car "BLACK" [ and the steering column lower clamp too] l.o.l. [i have a pinstriping brush if you need one. Or call Jim Brand ,he'll take care of striping the car and welting ,your bumper clamps ,black paint in you panel, and touchups. Come down to Charlie's we Provide a good tasting pizza and solve the world problems too.
