Default side curatin storarge - '36 roadster

What did Ford utilize (if anything) for storing the side curtains on a '36 roadster?

A big pouch, with compartments for the rods. Don Rogers may have a drawing of it or a part number so that you could get a copy of the original drawing at the BFRC.

DavidG

I am interested in this question as well. Just trying to find an upholsterer that can make side curtains for me in the New England area. Can you PM me how to contact Don Rogers?

Regards

He is a member herein, cleverly disguised with the name "Don Rogers", so you can send him a PM directly from here.

I believe that the "big pouch" for the roadster is called the top curtain container ass'y and has the part # 48-715720. I do not have any drawings of this item. It will go on my list for my next visit to the Benson Ford Research Center.

For the record, the container ass'y for the phaeton is 48-755098.
