Default My 2014 Hershey Pictures

Hi Guys,

Sorry it took this long to get this post up but I hit the ground running after Hershey with work and am finally getting some free time to catch up on things.

This was my 7th year at Hershey and like all the years past I took some pictures. Right around 2,000 total, I uploaded 1,700 of them Clicking on this here will redirect you to all of the pictures if you want to look.

This year was pretty good. The weather was good for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There were forecasts of rain on Friday and some vendors took that as a sign to pack up and head home on Thursday which was disappointing. It started to ever so slightly drizzle around 2pm on Friday and I don't think it really started to rain until 4 or 5 pm that night. Regardless of that I managed to walk every aisle which of course resulted in the number of pics I took. I didn't go looking for Model A stuff so the scores I got were cool for me but not relevant to this board. Even made my way over to the AACA museum to check out the new Tucker exhibit.

Here are some of the Model A-centric pictures I took. As is always the case I know nothing about the owners, prices, etc about these items.

As the kids would say "WTF?"

Thanks for the shot of my Special Coupe. I was stopping to buy a Quail to replace the brass motormeter that I borrowed from my Model T. Regards, John

In picture # 6 with the fordor, I couldnt believe my eyes when I seen that one, If I recall I think the price was $6300. on the windshield . The two front doors were from a Murray body and the back doors from a Briggs body, the roof also seemed to be spliced together. what a deal !!!

Nice record of the show! I remember seeing many of those spots on the fields of Hershey.

I saw that merging of slant windshield and Briggs fordor. What was that all about and what would someone do with it?
