One of the things I often hear from Fordbarners is how they would like to attend a --or another workshop. So if, -and I mean IF we were to schedule another 3-day workshop to be held in eastern Tennessee this Fall (likely in late Sept or early Oct), what would 2 topics that (-providing you would attend,) that you would like to participate in? By 'participate', I'm not saying who would sit in a chair watching a seminar, ...I'm asking who would actually participate with their own hands doing a project under the guidance of a knowledgable person(s). (Bigger projects might have 2-3 people involved.)

Please list your two preferences.

Model A Day is Sept 16-18...I would love to attend and learn more metal work and repair/welding finishing.

I'd also like to attend and learn metal work, like dent removal and fender crack repair, and try an English Wheel, which I've never used.

I'd be interested in learning more about how to successfully paint more than one color on a car. Thanks for tossing out the idea of another workshop.

Depending on the date and my schedule, I would like to attend as well. Again, depending on schedule and available equipment, I would be willing to give a seminar of some sort, related to metal shaping basics, or anything related to restoration work that you might deem useable.

Repairing fender bead breaks.

I learned a lot last time. Interior and headliner instalation. Metal shrinkage and pinstriping. Babbitt pouring.
I need some hands on color sanding. Buffing out stainless. Cowl band restoration,speedometer rebuilding.

Several of the FB'ers have mentioned Upholstery and Sheetmetal working. richsford brought up front end and brakes. To do a good brake workshop one needs a thirty plus ton press to press studs. Is that equipment available? Also a Brake lathe. Is that one available?

Always interested in another work shop. Not sure if I would be able to attend though. Getting time off of work is somewhat difficult. Already taking the last weekend of Sept off for other reasons. So alot will depend on timing and my ability to get travel money ahead between now and then. Will keep it in my thoughts but not be able to make a decesion until early Sept. Rod

A few years ago I purchased a "jeweler's" oxy-acetylene torch thinking that I could use it to weld thin sheet metal. I did not have any success with it, and would like to bring it and have an expert check it out to decide if it is good for doing anything. Richard Lorenz

I think the metal working from fender and bead repair to panel straightening and replacement is always good and part if a more "skilled" learning scope.
Body refinishing techniques and systems used would also be good.

You can throw a dart and hit many good topics
I'd plan to come as well but fall would be my preference as well

I am always interested in Metal Working no matter what part of the vehicle is being addressed.
Another topic which you did in one of the previous seminars was Axle Rebuilding. By fall, I think that might be a hot topic for me...
