Default 14 engine

Does anyone know this fellow? I cannot send him a message through MTFCA since I do not have all of the activation keys & BS required. Where he is and a price would help make a decision.
I am mildly looking for a 1914 engine.

By Lorien Hegner on Monday, May 26, 2014 - 09:24 pm:
Engine number 491240 Casting date 3/26/14. Just seeing if there is anyone interested in this motor. Complete engine(no oil pan or trans.) Currently disassembled, bored .060 very clean and tight bore. Aluminum pistons, crank looks very good all babbitt looks good probably re-poured years ago. All valve seats look excellent. Could use new valves and lifters due to some normal wear. Valves are still the original welded stem type. Overall complete engine in very nice condition. I have had it for a good number of years and have not found a use for it yet. I have other projects that need parts so trying to free up some funds. Looking for a good offer. I will keep it if it doesn't bring a decent price. Can send pictures if interested or I may post some tomorrow if I have time.

He's in New London, Wisconsin. Clicking on his name should take you to his profile and a contact link. It is aggravating when people don't include basic information in their ads.

I sent him a note;
I know of someone that might be interested in the engine. He is unable to log on to this site because of problems with his computer but would like to talk to you. Here is a link to his request on Fordbarn;

If you would like to send me your phone number I will pass it on.

Hi guys, I am a member here as well! As Jeff stated I am located in New London, WI. As far as price goes I am open to offers. It is really what the market will bear. Then I need to decide if I want to let it go for that or hang on to it. Besides how many 100 year old engines does a guy run across LOL.

If that first digit is a 4, the serial number dates it to Monday, April 6, 1914.
