Default Bumper Arm A-17754-D vs. AA-17754-B difference?R

We are working on a 7/28 AA truck that came in as a basketcase, and it does not have a front bumper or bumper arm, ...and it appears we do not have any (correct) front bumper brackets. I realize this was an option, but if I am going to modify a passenger vehicle set, where does it need to be lengthened, and by how much?

Page E-34 of the Standards "Front bumper arms were the same as for the A chassis
through December 1929." Is this information incorrect?

I looked on the MAFFI site and the drawing date for AA-17754-BR 7/10/1930
It's not shown in the 12/1/1929 parts book.

Thanks Bob, I don't know. Is there any EIs listed on the MAFFI page that would show how many revisions? The PPL from 1931 shows a listing on them as being for AA.
