Default Judging Standards

How are after market item like, seat belts, step covers and mirrors addresses in the judging standards? Would like to add some after market items but dont want make a rookie mistake.

You can order the Judging Standards at MAFCA or MARC or your trusted Parts dealer.

Runningboard step plates are a 1 point deduction. Seatbelts no deduction as long as they are done neatly. Mirrors I am not sure if your originals are missing and you added aftermarket or tou have the spare tire accessory mirror. If original mirror is missing and you have an accessory mirror in its place then I believe that is a 5 point deduction. Accessory mirror on spare tire is a 1 point deduction. Please buy a copy of the JS to confirm what I posted here, lots of good info in there. Rod

Your right she just dont have side mirrors or seat belts and I wonder every time I drive her if thats legal here in Michigan.

Every state I'm aware of only requires what came on the car when it was built.

The book states that safety items like seat belts and all safety glass is fine.
