Default 1932 ford pickup fenders same as 33-34?

Hi guys. Im looking at replacing the damaged rear fenders of my 32 ford pickup. Im wondering if the 33-34 ford pickup rear fenders are the same as 32s?

If not, what are the differences & what i should look for?

Many thanks
George

no. different shape and curve. bolt spacing where fender filler piece bolts on frame at r board is easiest way to tell at swap meets if you cannot compare. take bolt spacing off 32 & 33-34 frames

I've seen this stated numerous times, but never seen photos that illustrate this supposed difference in "shape and curve" between the '32 and '33/34 rear truck fenders. Bolt holes and the fender-to-frame filler piece, not withstanding.

The front fenders are unquestionably different in the "shape and curve" department.

According to the original engineering drawings, there's no difference in the "shape and curve" of the fenders.

The spacing of the bolt holes for attachment to the running boards is also different in addition to fender-to-frame attachment and filler piece mentioned above.

A note on fitment. The shape of the rear of the fender does not fit the shape of the reveal on the bed, it overlaps the reveal at the bottom of the reveal. Apparently Ford used the same reveal stamp from the late 1931 bed and did not bother to change it to fit the new 1932 fender. This overlap continued through 1937.

That is true.

I have physically offered up '33/'34 rear fenders to a '32 and none of the bolt holes lined up and the fender-to-frame filler pieces are different and won't allow the fender to fit correctly. But, truck fenders are really hard to come by so worst case if '33/'34 is all that you can find they could be modified to work.
