Default 1935 ford truck bed

have 1935 ford pick up,have new hardwood bed kit but does not fit to the sides of the box any heilp ?

Where did you get the kit from? There is an order to the way the wood floor gets laid down.

1935 pickups did not have exposed wood floors. They had a steel floor wirh wood reinforcing under the steel. What you have is the under floor reinforcing, I would guess.

I was assuming he was replacing the steel floor with the wood floor that you can buy. Lawson and Jerry are correct in that there was wood under the steel floor as ford originally built it that way. Can you tell us what your project is? Did you buy a new bed and now want to install a wood floor?
