Cider, the motor is to early for your car. If it is an original four digit #, it should be replaced and installed in a very early car.

So now I need either an early 28 to put the engine in and a later engine to put in my 30 Town Car?! I think I'll just leave it where it is for now.

OK, I have found the number on the frame. I just had to sand down the paint that was hiding it. I did not see a star or the letter "A" in front of the number. This is what i found: 3223107
From the chart in the MAFC it looks like it was built in April of 1930. Now, is there a way to find the exact day? |
