Default Early V8 bumper irons

Early ford pre 1949 ford car bumper irons

Question is there something online or printed/book form to identify the bumper irons.

I got a set that were marked 40 pickup rear, but they are not. Would like to positively identify them.

One thing that I didnt recognize right off is one side has a D shaped threaded insert either press in or welded instead of a straight hole were you would have a nut and bolt.

skid, in the back of the Ford "green book" there are diagrams of the various year bumper irons. Very helpful if you have to make some missing piece or have some un-marked irons.
