Default Henery Fords first engine

The videographer was about as entertaining as the engine. Acted and sounded like he was on something.

I appreciated the video and found it very entertaining but then I am not a professor or attorney. I cannot imagine the skill and work it took for Henry to assemble a few ordinary parts found in the 1800s into an working engine. I wonder what he actually used for a spark plug. Mr. Diesel built a simpler engine which didn't even need a ignition system. Look at it agin Lawson and Henry and wonder if with all the materials available to you today would you have been able to assemble one or for that matter thought of the principal. That is what makes it interesting to me and thank Willit Stop for posting it.

Keith, Ford didn't invent that engine. He assembled it from published instructions.
