These are the invoices for the Model As my Daddy bought. He went to school with the owner of ACE Ford of Woodbury, NJ; so he got some help in getting what he wanted.

#38 shows Daddy ordered his first Model A on Dec. 10, 1927 and took delivery on Mar. 13, 1928 (#34). Note they called it gun metal blue and it had a low serial number (16,157 ). Daddy was a salesman for a company in Phila. He specialized in Page fence and his territory was south Jersey, Maryland to Baltimore and Delaware. He bought simple dependable Fords and drive the wheels off of them. He bought 25 straight Fords, one about every 18 months as they were not dependable for him after that(He was not a mechanic at all.) Mileage was around 50K in that short of time. He did this from 1927 until his death in 1956. One of his Model A's was stolen in New York city. I have his records on all the cars he bought.
