Neat story. Great people made it happen.

Hi Everyone,
Good catch mhsprecher. Why can't all the news we hear be uplifting stories like this one? -VT/JeffH |

Re: 100 year old woman reunited with '41 Ford
It's a small world. In 1953 and 1954 my wife and I with two children were the next door neighbors to Mr and Mrs Walter Wall in Bridgewater Massachusetts. The florist with greenhouses was our landlord and the Walls lived on one side of us, and the landlord's home and greenhouses were on the other side of us. They were a neighborly couple and I do not recall the 1941 Convertible being in their possession then.

They sold the Ford and bought a VW 23 Window in the 50's... ! Which would be worth more today?

Re: 100 year old woman reunited with '41 Ford
I loved the story but am wondering about the color. Could the "baby blue" be Florentine blue? Only 2 blue's were listed for '41; Florentine and Cayuga,a dark blue. I know photo's sometimes distort color.
