i bought a 1931 ford coupe with indented firewall out of vegas all i know is that it was a later build in the 1931 done in april . tell me about them are they more popular and rarer than a 1930 or 1931 early modal and how many were produced whats the big deal about them thanks

there is no big deal just that they indented it for the next year '32 when they introduced the v8

The indention was for the fuel valve, they mounted it outside instead inside the cab. The indention was not for the engine.
