Re: Your favorite Model A/AA body style?
I'm another one for the 29 business coupe, as there were a total of 0 originally brought downunder, it is going to be a long search for one. Guess I'll have to import one from the US. Any leads welcome.

I'm for the 28/29 Special coupe. Very distinctive well balanced design.
I should add, with a trunk not a rumble seat. Last edited by Barry B./ Ma.; 08-09-2010 at 07:39 AM. |

Still in love with my 1930 Model A 2 door sedan. Have owned and operated it for the last 43 years. Have had a few others. Maybe because I always wanted a Model A, and she was the first!

Deluxe Phaeton (2 dr) is my favorite, I love the long, low roof line look with the top up. Impractical daily driver in my climate area, though.

Re: Your favorite Model A/AA body style?
Well, since my signature states my ownership, I have to say my preference is the Fordor 60-series. While I own a 60C ('29 Briggs), if I could pick another it would be the 60B.

Re: Your favorite Model A/AA body style?
30/31 AA Service Car with the Weaver crane on the back. The English version was not "fleet sided" ,had a wider body and had tool/equipment lockers let into the side panels. Also had a large oval "Ford" sign on the roof, this was in blue and white glass and illuminated from inside. This is the coolest truck ever. Some years back an original complete one was found bricked up in a disused backery. The new property owners would not sell and parked it in the open at a leisure centre they owned.Sad to say it was trashed by the kiddies playing on it. The signed was thrown as it was a safety hazard (sigh).

Re: Your favorite Model A/AA body style?
I like them all but as a tour car you can't beat a 30-31 deluxe delivery. You can take everything, including the kitchen sink and still have room for stuff you buy along the way. We have driven ours in 10 countries and most western states. 42000 miles so far.
