Hello, bit of a problem as I am trying to restore the body behind the rear seats. Does anybody know where I can find an illustration of how it looked originally as after 90 years I don't think mine vaguely resembles how it left the factory?

I believe it was Canadian then exported to Argentina before rocking up here in the UK.

The center portion at the rear where the rear quarters attach? I have some pictures, just not sure which ones you looking for.

Yes, thanks. Anything would be of help as most of the wooden frame is missing and the various metal pieces suffering from tin worm attack.

If the car was new in Argentina, it is an American export RHD., not Canadian. There are some good books out there, although I know you younger guys expect everything online.
Model A ford as Henry Built it by Francis , DeAngelis& Henry.

technology at times [under strict supervision of course...]

Glad you are still into old cars, especially Model A's. I saw a list recently of known Model A's in the UK & most, except a lot of AA trucks, are sourced from outside Britain.

The book: Restoring the open As by Mack Hils has a picture and drawings of the wood inside the body of the phaeton and roadster. Charles

Most of the wood in the phaetons was there to hold the back seat and for trim tack strips. Other than the bustle, the doors, and the seat frame, there isn't a lot to it. The "How To Restore Your Model A" series of 7 books put out by MAFCA is the best I've come across for overall restoration.
