Default manifold gaskets

I took my manifolds off the engine to remove the hogs head (changing bands). I checked 2 of the suppliers to replace the manifold gaskets and both said the manufacturer stopped making them. Does anyone know where I can get a set? Also kevlar bands are on back order with no known date of when they'll be back in stock. Everything's apart and I can't drive it!

Thanks for any help, Dan

I got mine from farmallcub49. He's on here. I'll send you a PM with his Ph #.

Hey garrisonm89 and Andy at Farmallcub49, thank you both for the info and Andy, thanks for the gaskets and bands! I would have felt funny driving a modern car to my own T&A-only car show!

What kind of manifold gasket were you looking for that was out of stock and who did you contact? Along with the two people that were suggested above did you try Lang's or Snyder's?

I tried Langs and Macs with no luck. Andy at 'OSO HANDY RESTORATIONS was able to get them for me.

Hey Andy, thanks for helping Dan out.

Hey Dan, did Andy talk to you about how to check your manifold for flatness? Or maybe you already know about such things. I know I didn't until one day I was Andy's shop and he always seems to have a way of having the next thing I'm going to need to know in regards to my T. Either he's done this stuff enough to know step by step what needs to be done next or he's over at my house messin' with my Model Ts. LOL

I believe they are the 3-in-1 all copper type. This is the type with three of the gaskets all in one piece, much like the fiber ones, but made of copper. The standard Ford ones are sill being made.
