Timing Old Distributor/Coil Ignition?
I have a '25 TT with a distributor/coil ignition. How do you set the initial timing? Thanks for any help, PK.

Re: Timing Old Distributor/Coil Ignition?
I would set it this way; Bring #1 to just where it goes past top dead center. If its a clip on type you will need to install it in full retard where the point are just about to open. This will involve removing the assembly maybe several time to find which lobe and gear tooth matches that. With clip on there is no designated lobe for No 1 which ever lobe that is matched up that is about to open becomes #1. You then install the wires in the correct order 1243.
