Banjo rear end question
Will the axle bells off a 1934 fit on a 1948 center section with the 1948 gears and bearings? Thanks.

Re: Banjo rear end question
I'm 99.9% sure they will not fit. Things changed in 35. Most parts 35-48 are (sort of) interchangeable. 32-34 V8 stuff is similar, but different enough to make swapping difficult.

Re: Banjo rear end question
There were different carrier bearings between the two different center sections and bells so it would be rough to try a conversion unless your a machinist with lots of experience and even then there would likely be an easier way to get what you are looking for.

Re: Banjo rear end question
the later center section is wider, this will change the radius rod position and the axles will be too short so it wouldn't be a bolt together thing.
