31 S/W Dome Light Pictures
I had to take my dome light apart to clean the smoke film off, so I though I would take some pictures while it was apart.
I did a search for dome light trying to find if there was a gasket between the lens & frame. Looks like there is no gasket. I had to remove the solder from 2 corners of the lens shell to remove it. There is a lot of rattle between the lens & frame, so maybe a small dab of RTV when reassembling. The lens assy is hard to remove from the case using just my hand so I used a screwdriver to pry it apart. The dimples have a lot of holding power. or I have weak fingers or both. I have a few more pictures I could post if needed |

But fortunately I found at Hershey a bezel and glass that were identical to yours, except that the bezel has a little slot for a switch. Perhaps somebody knows what model (V8?) that is meant for? Doug
