Cowl lantern rings
I have a 1915 touring with kero lanterns hanging near the windshield. The rings that go around the lens are painted black over steel (it holds a magnet). I believe they should be brass for 1915, but I can't find them in Langs or Macs. Do they make reproduction lantern rings? I have the brass headlight rings.

Re: Cowl lantern rings
No problem: Snider's has them.
http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/4129 The top of your cowl & tail lights should be brass as well - they also have them. Sit down before you look them up though!!!

Re: Cowl lantern rings
No idea how much one of those caswell brass plating kits costs but plating the rings at home might be more economical than the price tag on those for sale. Probably not as good as the ones for sale at Snyders though.
