Default 1933-34 oil chex gauge

Anybody have the directions for installing the oil chex gauge for 33-34 ford. The ammeter is easy, but not sure about the 2 screws at the top for the oil on-off. I am assuming the sender wire goes to one, but what goes to the other? Thanks.

Hey Fred , I can't find the instructions but it's pretty simple . The long wire goes to the sending unit & the short one goes to the switch side of the resistor - not the coil side . The sending unit completes the ground when you have over 4 #'s of oil pressure . The ad also states it will warn you if your oil level gets below 1 1/2 qts . The key is 4 #'s as it takes that pressure to activate the switch which in turn completes the ground & turns the flipper from red "OFF" to green "on" . I can get the lengths of the leads if you are not in a big hurry as the car that has a gennie one in it isn't here . It's sleeping in my nieces cozy shop . I will post the instructions when { if } I find them . Rudolph Faltermeyer had all this info also .
