I always worry about product Quality...it's fused into my DNA. I'm not familiar with Tubman. They make caps?

Re: Dual Condensers?
He reproduces the type made by Mallory for it's aftermarket ignition systems. Some call them the trash can type due to it's size and shape. This is what they look like.
https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...nsers.1037842/ They are pretty large for a model A application. The Vertex Scintilla magneto condensers are another well made cap that folks sometimes use but all of these are expensive. Napa Echlin still manufactures fairly decent condensers but I don't know how much longer that will last after they were bought out by Standard Motor Parts. I always buy two or three to make sure I get at least one good one. Last edited by rotorwrench; 09-19-2020 at 09:29 AM. |

Re: Dual Condensers?
You could mount it under the dash if you didn't like the looks.

Re: Dual Condensers?
Alot of motorcycles had the condenser mounted up under the fuel tank away from the points and worked fine.
