Couple of guesses, is it blowing erratically when pressed? then I would look for a bad connection at the bottom of steering column specifically the light switch connector . Is it blowing erratically when not pressed? Then I would look for a short anywhere from button down to bottom of column at light switch connector. Anyone else feel free to add.

I had the same problem , and discovered the brass bushing on top of light rod was deteriorated , its annoying but simple to repair. do some research on light rod removal.

The center spring horn contact on the harness contact plate is touching the corresponding hole in the upper rotating plate where it contacts the horn rod end. Cut a piece of shrink tubing to fit around the spring & contact (but not covering the contact), should cure the short.

Thanks for the suggestions! Yes, it blows erratically when button is not pushed. Continuity tester show a closed circuit (between wire end and frame) when I turn the steering wheel. I will try your suggestions.
Thanks!
