In my kits I have always sold a bronze pilot bushing and just a good quality early throwout brg from my local auto store. 20 years of selling conversion kits and very few problems.

This also depends on the T5 you are using. There are several different T5 input shaft sizes and splines that require different size pilot bearings, throw out bearings and clutches. The most commonly used is the Chevy S10, but be sure what you have. The throw out bearing will also depend on the adapter you are using.

I have been running a '88 S10 T5 in my '38 pickup for the past 12 years using a stock (NOS) throw out bearing and a stock bronze bushing that I drilled and pushed in a roller bearing. I believe that the roller bearing is a Mustang part.
