Default Hood side identification

How do you tell original hood sides vs re-pop hood sides. I was told the handle on them are to be smooth on the inside facing the hood side. Are there any other ways. Thanks.

Judging stds area 13, Repo hoods can sometimes be identified by larger then original rivet heads on the top and sides and by a wire used to form the bottom rolled edge. feel the inside edges of the hood handle to ensure it is flat and smooth not sharp and angular. The openings between the louvers shall be equal on each one. All hood sides were curved top to bottom including the louvers. The curve is slight at the front and increased towards the rear, matching the curvature of the cowl. etc. Hood louvers in beginning thru mid 28 were parallel bottom edge,Mid 28 through 29 louvers were parallel with the hinge line.
