Default 'Ford' 'FoMoCo' script,,,, paint/marker (?)

I gotta unusual question. On e see's the 'Ford/FoMoCo' script printed/painted on several obosolete reproduction (ex, rubber hoses) items listed in the catalogs.
Question; how would one go about printing/painting the script on the same item that does not have the script?
Is there a stencil/rubber type paint/marker/? offered to be able to do that?
Thanks

Some of the "craft" paints are multi surface & are outside compatable. Wallyworld has em.
I'm toying with building a wooden box, painting it black to conceal an Optima. The wife says she can make a stencil & paint Ford script on it..??? Maybe. mike

If your car is for the concourse, you might want to leave the script off. That orange script Drake puts on the top 40 radiator hoses should get you a point deduction. Lacquer thinner will remove it.

Nope, no concourse. Just would like to duplicate his (the) process here at home for other reasons.
Thanks for the reminder.

I suggest to check with your local sign or graffic / print shop. Thats what I did and was
directed to also a local shop that made a custom rubber stamp. FoMoCo is an easy
one to make. They also suggested to use printers ink. sam

Print blocks will not work -- they were / are made for paper or magazine printing and will not bend as needed for rubber hoses etc.
A soft rubber stamp will be your best bet.

Probably not a problem with duplicating the Ford logo for your own use but selling something with it is an entirely different matter. Ford is kind of picky about that sort of thing.

Nope, no intention to 'stamp' the script on a rubber hose and sell it as OEM

What specific type of 'ink/paint'? Has to be somewhat flexable, adhear to rubber and take the heat.

Anybody know how Drake does his hoses, what process he uses, stamps and ink/paint?

Any idea, 'guestiment' what those stamps cost to make?

Thanks.

The rubber stamp is pretty cheap but the big cost is making the die by people I can't think of the tech name but like a tool & die maker like inscriptions on rings watches Etc. thats
the mold to cast the rubber. In my case they also gave me this mold if I ever needed
another stamp. Again what you want is really a simple mold nothing complicated for
simple block letters. Now a days probably 3D printed. They said printers ink cause its
used on big banners that flap in the wind stands snow rain hot sun worth a try. You just
have to ask around. sam
