Can you elaborate on what exactly it is? Mine appears to have a seam running the length of it and it's a 1930.

I don't have a good picture of mine,it is on my 30 pickup. It is not a round tube,it is kind of a U-channel.The center has slots for the license plate bolts,no hangers needed. At a quick look some people thing they are Chevrolet bars. That's how I got mine.Somebody had bought it thinking Chevrolet, but it is really nothing like them except for the plate mount slots. He gave it to me,and I was a little surprised it fit the A.I found out about them years later,I got it in the mid 70's,and I only got around to using it about 12 years ago.I also have a 30 with forged front fender brackets, not stamped.I also had a 29 truck with stamped front fender braces, not forged.I have no idea if they were original or replacements, but I got the truck from a garage where it sat untouched since the war ended.

That's the one I have.Second one down in the picture, laying there it just looks like it has a fat spot in the tube, but it is really not a tube,it is a U-channel,and has slots for the plate bolts.

Early 30 stamped headlight bar. Very different than the later bars. License plate bolts directly onto the bar without any clamps. Sorry for the crappy photo. Hope you get the idea.

Thanks to all that replied and the picture. I acquired one this weekend and wasn't sure that it was an early stamped steel 30 bar. Keith
