The fingers can be adjusted thru the inspection cover. There is quite a bit of info on it.

Thanks for the help! where can I find the information you are speaking of? would it be in the Ford service bulletin 1928/1931? if so I have it some place!

I just find the finger that contacts first. Mark them. Then I use a long .0015" feeler strip and set the rest to a stiff drag. Work the clutch pedal a few times and go over them again.
