This post is not to talk negative about a Model A Ford part vendor but rather a heads up. If you order one from any of the vendors and it is described as the one with steel contacts not brass and "machined accurately" make sure you check it for a fit right away.I bought a new dist top and the body and does not go together. The distributor body diameter is about .015 bigger than the female part on the top that it is supposed to fit in. The top fits my old ones and is made in the USA the body that is supposedly machined more accurately than the USA made one with brass contacts is Made in China. Again not knocking the vendor whom I have already sent the part back just heads up so no one orders and stashes away to find out too late.
