Very helpful thread here. We are newbies with 200 miles on a new motor. We were re-torquing (60 lbs?) the high compression head after a several miles so the engine was hot. Once we read this thread & re-torqued at increments of 10 lbs each when motor was warm the head bolts went from 35 lbs to 60 lbs. As a precaution we'll drain & replace the engine oil.
