Maybe a jeweler? He might want a challenge and something different.

Brent Terry has mentioned taking them to a musical instrument shop. They are more accustomed to working on Brass. I have not taken my brass teacups to one yet, but am planning on it when I get far enough along that it is feasable to. Rod

Look for a shop that does repair and re-plating of Silver Service. (Tea Sets etc.) Normandy Plating here in Pasadena Ca. does this kind of work and they also do Nickel Plating.

I have repaired this kind of thing my self using Silver Solder and a VERY SMALL torch. It is easy to use and polishes out well and will plate with no problems. This is very common with the old brass parts that were formed from sheet. The brass will work harden with age and develope cracks.
