a friend has a 56 with teapot intake with no vacuum hookup.it was never drilled out.how did they run the wipers.the fuel pump was only a booster.someone gave him a spare intake and its the same.i know its a simple job to take it of and drill it out but just wondering what they did.the car was a wreck when he got it and the wipers were not hooked to anything.

They took the vacuum for the wipers from the teapot carb. The distributor came off a "T" just below the fuel intake and the wiper vacuum was taking off the front of the carb.
