Default '49-'53 8BA or 8CM Heads

Does anyone know of a chart with the compression ratio of all of the '49-'53 stock Ford and Mercury heads? Better yet, is there any particular version that is better than another?

Here's some reading for you. Doesn't exactly answer your question, but gives you some history.

EAB or EAC have highest stock compression

EAB yes, but not EAC! EAC are Mercury heads, which have significantly larger combustion chambers to keep the compression down on the larger 4" stroke Merc engines.

There is a table in Joe Abbin's book, "Ford & Mercury Flathead V-8 Identification and Rebuilder's Guide" that shows the characteristics of all the stock cylinder heads, table 7-1 on page 7-3. There are seven different cylinder heads listed for the third generation flatheads.
