The only 1932 Ford to have Suicide Front Doors was the Deluxe Three Window Coupe. Then in 1933, the Suicide Front Doors appeared on all body styles. The same bodies were carried over for 1934, and they too, had Suicide Front Doors.
The rear doors on Fordor Fords were Suicide style up until 1948.

1934 Ford Fordor Sedans were the last sedans with 4 Suicide Doors

This is a picture of the only 1932 Ford to have Suicide Doors, the 1932 Ford Deluxe Three Window Coupe. All other body styles for 1932 Fords had regular opening doors.

Ted, You are 100% correct in your statement about the UK assembled 1932 Ford Tudor and Fordor Sedans. This pictures is of a low mileage survivor that was assembled in Europe.

American built convertable sedans with 4 doors did not have suicide rear doors.

A '32 Ford assembled in the UK with left-hand drive??? Must be an export model (from the UK) to countries where they drive on the 'right' side of the road....

The UK was not the only country in Europe that assembled Fords.

"The UK was not the only country in Europe that assembled Fords."

That's for sure, but the 2 and 4 door saloon bodies themselves were manufactured at the Briggs plant on Ford's Dagenham site, just as the other '32 body styles offered in Europe (cabriolets, coupes, convertible sedans, etc.) had bodies that were manufactured in North America.

I have a 37 Ford Prefect with suicide doors (two door model) I cannot find any information or other examples of this particular car. The original steel wire wheels are stamped with "england" "pat pend" and a round circle with lines in it.

Any thoughts?

Ford played with front opening rear doors for a long time. The mid century Lincoln and Mercury cars had them. They came back on Lincolns in the mid 60s. Even the Thunderbird fordors had them in the late 1960s.
