Ignition key codes
In my box of ignition parts I have an original lock and key with the code
of "FB". I am pretty certain that it is an original 1932 lock. I also have some keys coded "FD" and "FH". Is "FB" correct for 1932 ? How about the "FD and "FH" ? Thanks for your help, Dodge |

Re: Ignition key codes
32phil is the go to guy on the Ford Barn for Ford lock & key questions. I think the key code is on the door lock cylinder if I remember correctly.

Re: Ignition key codes
Dodge,
The FB key code is indeed correct for 1932 and in some cases was used in 1933-34 as was FC. The FD is correct for 1935 The FH is correct for 1936 If the dimensional specs of the locks are the same, they can be used interchangeably. Regards, FlatHeadCoupe |
