Onetime years ago I was struggling with tightness on Model A tie rod/frontends. I was running a class of old school motel A's in the repair tent area under a big oak tree with beer. Between them there was 150 years of fixen' Fords. I rigged up a 2 or 3 ends together and had them guys make adjustments: no torque wrenches, nuthin. I was crying as the did their magic in bare hands. what a learning session for all.
