Rewinding Horn Field Coils
I recently saw an excellent article on this, complete with clear pictures. I cannot remember where I saw it, and searches of this site and VFF do not find it.
Does anyone recognize the article I’m describing and know where I might find it ? Many thanks - Jim |

The MARC magazine had an article not long ago.

Re: Rewinding Horn Field Coils
Thanks for that article, Tom. I have converted my Model As to 12 volts and getting the horn to sound right is the only downside, IMO.
On the same theme, I have a horn with a faulty segement on the armiture. It works fine - sometimes but when the armaiture stops in the wrong place, it is silent. Is there a similar article about rewinding the armiture?
