Repair manual suggestions

Hello All,
I'm new to the board and just bought a 1928 Toudor that needs a little love to get back on the road. As I'm getting into the working bits of this car, I'm learning the the past owner (who has passed) was a bit of a hack when it came to repairing and maintaining this old doll. While I have Les Andrews books I could use a proper shop manual that has exploded views of all the components; how they go together and what holds therm there. This car is going to be a solid driver not a show car. I want to repair it properly with the correct components not the duct tape and twist tie electrical repairs and sheet metal screws jammed into machine screw threaded holes and garden hose gaskets for bushings that I'm discovering.

Buy a set of the exploded views that MARC or MAFCA offers of many of the components on the car and a Snyders and Brattons catalog.

Thanks KR! I'll got to MARC and MAFCA to have a look. I have a few catalogs and they have been a great help, Their web sites would be helpful if there were exploded views linked to the parts.

Reproduction parts books, one for body and several for chassis are good and include which fasteners,washers & nuts (even cotter pin descriptions) go with a particular part. There are several books for fasteners and hardware with sizes and illustrations. Even the era reprint of Victor Paige shows tear down and assembly, old stuff but was the bible in the 1960's and still worth a read.
