Default 40 Heater Trim Clips?

I've started restoring a 40 heater for my new to me 40 coupe.

Are the TINY spring clips that attach the stainless trim to front of the case available anywhere? Or does anyone have some to spare?

Thanks in advance!

A pix of what you are looking for would help. As I recall the '39 & '40 hot water heaters are the same. The heater I have has provisions for a defroster by-pass on the upper left side.
Attached is a pix of the '39 heater in my '36.

Thanks for posting the pics that I forgot.
Those two vertical stainless strips are each attached by two VERY small trim clips.
The clips are what I need.

Those clips may be the same as those used for the side trim on the '35-36 Ford hood trim strips

Try Larry Caplan - he's the 39/40 heater guy in California.
Otherwise the 39 deluxe dash molding clip set sold by various Parts vendors should do it. PN 91A-20000C

I think the clips for a 38 deluxe and 39 standard hood stainless which is skinny is the same. I have successfully shortened mentioned stainless to work on a 40 heater.
I know Larry Kaplan and he is pretty much out of the heater business.

There are a few minor differences between a 40 and 39 heater and I believe the one pictured is a 39 due to color and shape of handles. If you painted the heater gray, put red stripes on it and 40 handles as well as correct toe guard, I think it would be the same as a 40. Kube would know for sure. If you only want a heater that works, what you have will certainly suffice.

You could also check an auto parts store for some small plastic clips called "Christmas Tree Clips" due to their appearance. These work well in some uses and dont chip the paint

The '39 standard grille trim clips work quite well and are reproduced and readily available.
