Default Model B Starter Cable

Thinking about using a B starter cable (and switch) on my hopped-up A...curious if someone could provide some details on said cable. From the few photos I've seen, it looks like a basic choke cable...did it have a special fitting on the end (starter switch connection)?

Anyone have a spec on the length of the cable?

Thanks,

Gary

The inner cable is bare at the switch end as the attachment is part of the arm on the switch. On the other end, the outer casing is securely attached to the steering column bracket (on a Model B). That sort of secure attachment of the casing is necessary for the inner cable to be activated by pulling on the knob.

As always David, I appreciate the info!

I'm considering mounting the cable to my dash, so it sounds like I can modify a standard/universal choke cable to make it work.

Most likely that will work.
