Port St.Lucie...85 and sunny. Wifey and I went out in the boat and knocked hell out of the Pompano... I remember snow so deep in the driveway that by the time I was done shoveling it, I couldn't throw it up over the banks along side. I have a "change of seasons" now, too. In October, I head south and change from autum back to summer...

I am from Ohio and some of my freinds ice fish, but it is like i told them. If i ever get to hate my wife so much that i would rather set on a lake covered with ice freezing my ass off waiting for a fish to bite than be with her i will get a divorce. LOL Marv

The DOWN side to the Snow Bird thing is that my car is tucked away for the winter...up north. I'm very seriously considering having it transported down here, next winter...

Pack it up - Bring it down ! Here in Daytona, there are all kinds of antique cars here, during the winter, sporting tags from New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maine, all of the New England states and many from Canada. Motorcycles too.

I brought my roadster from New England to Arizona. I had been driving around in the unseasonable cool weather, but parked it two days ago. I refuse to put the curtains on and run the heater.
Here's a picture I took outside my rental condo this morning. This is not why I came here. lol

Hey Mike, have you seen any cars with tag's from Maryland? :-) I am starting to get jealous of everyone who lives in FL. Especially those who make these posts about driving in convertibles with tops down in 80* weather :-). Oh no! We have more snow coming next week!! Coming down for the Barner Bash next month is looking better all the time. Vic has promised us good warm weather.

Up until recently my parents would drive their classic car down to Florida for the winter each year. It would be the only car they would have there. Dad had to finally switch to the SUV cuz it seemed every year Mom would want to take more and more stuff down with her. I think the last year was when they took their '40 Ford and by the time they got there Dad had to get two new rear tires cuz they had rubbed from the excessive weight in the truck.

The snow might be the only thing I DON'T miss since I moved from the northeast. Actually, scratch that, I'd take that snow over the nasty air we breath in Salt Lake any day.

John I would have much rather had your snow. We got ice. My 30 year old white pines now look like telephone poles. Seths yard looks like a war zone. Doesn't look like it's going to melt soon either. On the bright side Phil didn't see his shadow.LOL.

I like it here snow and all. You Florida boys just better hope that it keeps snowing here for a very long time and many more years cause if it stops you'll be swimming out to your shops. You'll have to use the Ford Bubble Barn.

3rd week of 70 degree sunny dry weather here in San Jose, CA.

Watered and mowed the lawn, watered the onions, artichokes and peppers in the vegetable garden...

Denise, see if you can get down to Tampa the weekend of March 4th to 6th as we are having the annual "Barner's Bash", a weekend full of car fun, BBQ, sunshine and warm temps... What could be better! Vic
