Default Vacuum Line Messed up

I took my carb off to work on it and the vacuum line which goes from the back of distributor into carb messed up. Basically I pulled the nut off the line and now I cannot get it back onto the line. Is this a prefabbed part or is there an easy fix I am not seeing?

Once the special nut has been tightened down, it clamps itself around the tubing. It’ll rotate (to be able to tighten or loosen) but won’t pull off the tubing. We stock the nut (p/n 351112-S). You may have to purchase more tubing if trimming your vacuum line results in it being too short.

Thank you! I was able to get it back on hopefully without damage.
