Default 41 woodie antenna

Just discovered an interesting tidbit.
I ordered a complete antenna kit for my 41 woodie.
The inside rod is too short that goes from the dash
to the roof. I pulled out my original
and it is 2 inches longer than the new one although corroded.

Talked to Dennis Carpenter who made the parts
and the response was I must have a late 41. Sure
enough the antenna rod for a 42 fits.

Anyone have a picture of the inside antenna installed for a 42?

Some station wagons of the post war era have a taller roof than any of the passenger types of the same year model. At least I know the 49 to 51 Mercury station wagons do. A person would have to compare windshield height between the station wagon and passenger cars that used that antenna in 1941.
