Default green paint for a 34

Hi folks

Just purchased a 34 tudor in pretty nice shape & would appreciate some help identifying the green color on the body , fenders are black .
It obviously was repainted at some time apparently w/ original colors
The green is kind of a dark forest green .
Not looking to repaint , just need to fix some small spots probably w/ an air brush & lacquer .
Thks in advance for any help .

Take it to a paint or body shop, they can match the paint using a camera thing.

Sounds like Vineyard green.

Thks guys !
I found a "Dark Hunter Green" Rustoleum #7733 in a spray can @ Lowes & w/ that mixed a little of their Gloss Black & found a perfect match for touchup ---not for spraying but just dabbing w/ a tooth pick or tiny brush on dings or where ever. I usually spray some in the can cap for access & mix if needed .
Totto--- your pick up looks the same color .

I had a 33 sedan which had an original dark green paint. I mean original, not a repaint. I more-or-less ran into a similar situation. I wanted to buy enough to repaint the entire body. I bought a small sample from one of the then-prominent vendors that advertised in the V8 Times. It was called Vineyard green, but the sample was much lighter than the original paint on my car. I painted a small area, so that the new and old could be compared together. I was never happy with the supplied new color. I went a different direction on the car paint job. And, now I have this small sample left. It's yours if you want it. Maybe you can do as suggested above, add some black until you get what you want. The label says Sherwin Williams, Acrylic Enamel, 1470-A, Gray Vineyard Green, 33-34 Ford. There is less than 1 pint left.

bobH,

The problem you encountered was the result of incorrect labeling of the paint. Vineyard green was a '34 color, not the green used on '33s, which was Brewster green-medium. That was a darker green than Vineyard green.
